Sectioned off from the gaming floor, but very much an integral part of our casino, March Pierre White's restaurant treats diners to the most delicious, seasonal food.

- Alea /s casino, bars and restaurants are open 7 days a week. The casino and gaming facilities open at noon and close at 4am from Wednesday to Saturday. From Sunday to Tuesday, the casino closes at 6am. The Red Leaf Restaurant menu is available from 5.30 pm until 12 am.

Food
While our star attractions are steaks and sumptuous Sunday roasts, other popular favourites include Marco’s roast rump of lamb à la dijonnaise, smoked haddock fishcake with poached egg, and for dessert the Cambridge burnt cream is a light delight. We can cater to all tastes and preferences with our range of menu options, including a la carte, lunch, pre-theatre, Alea All In, vegetarian and vegan.

It’s not just about the food though! There are so many more reasons to eat here. We have a fully stocked bar, our attentive staff are second to none, the decor is stylish with wonderful comedic artwork around the walls, and daylight pours in through windows on to the street.

Also, unlike other casinos, we allow under-18s into the restaurant, so you can bring the whole family. Customers can even choose their own steak knives and we’re able to tailor meals to any vegetarian, allergy. or intolerance requirements.
In Marco Pierre White’s own words, the restaurant is about “feeding people at the right price within the right environment and with the right level of service”.
Two floors of a historic building in the city centre come to life in a big way for events of all sizes right up to 250 people. Alea Casino Nottingham is regularly hired out for wedding receptions, private celebrations, and for the more sociable corporate events like awards ceremonies, gala dinners, networking receptions, and parties, be it Christmas or Summer. Throw in some added fun with a casino games night or a cocktail masterclass.
The Event Suite has a maximum capacity of 250 guests, so it’s well suited to those large events, plus it’s ready and waiting with a stage, private fully serviced bars, and up-to-the-minute audio-visual technology. If you don’t really want the whole room part of it can be divided off with a curtain for you. If you don’t number very many then book the Top Table VIP Lounge, or just a small part of it; it’s rather plush and sophisticated with intimate booths, a huge LED plasma screen, and of course, Roulette and Blackjack tables.

Completely separate from the gaming area is the sassy and vibrant Spanish themed Bar Esquina, which can be booked for events for 120 people from Sunday to Thursday, or at weekends you can just book a section of it. It’s so Spanish you couldn’t be faulted for thinking you were slap bang in Madrid – and you can even push the boat out and have a salsa class here! Hola! There’s also a private dining room that seats 24, and though it’s within the Marco Pierre White restaurant you’re assured a degree of privacy.
At Alea Casino Nottingham you’ll get all the glitz and razzmatazz you’d expect from a professional casino, plus a team who are more than used to helping plan and run events. Menus are good too, with a good choice of canapes, party buffets and three course dinners. If you’re a member here you can park on site underneath the casino, but otherwise they have arrangements with a hotel that’s close by. If you come by train, Nottingham train station is about a mile away, or less than ten minutes by car.
